Posted on May 13, 2022 at 9:07 am

When you think about travelling somewhere new, you are going to head to Google and look for places to visit in this new place. The search result is most likely to bring up places that will be full of tourists. For example, France will bring up the Eiffel Tower, Italy will be The Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the USA is likely to suggest Florida and Disney World. But these places are going to be rammed with tourists making for an unpleasant experience, so how can you avoid these places, but still have a good time? Well, skip googling. Travelling Abroad During Covid – What You Need To Know

Posted on December 13, 2021 at 12:45 pm

The borders have only recently opened, allowing us Brits to travel to some of our favourite abroad holiday destinations including Spain, France and Florida! But, the way of travelling has changed massively with there being many new rules that you need to follow.

When you decide to travel for your first holiday abroad since covid-19, here are the new rules that you must follow.

Before you travel, you must take a specific holiday COVID-19 test, these can be a recorded LFT or a PCR test. These results must be negative in the days leading up to your travel day.

Once you arrive abroad, you’re likely the need to take another LFT test the day after your arrival. This should show negative before you decide to venture out into the country.

When you travel back home, you will again need to test within the first 5 days of you arriving home. This is to again ensure you have not caught covid whilst being away.

If your tests come back positive at any time, you will need to self isolate no matter where you are. If this crosses over with the end of your holiday, you will need to pay for more accommodation and flights until your self-isolation days are over.

Everything you need to know about vegan handbags

Posted on May 5, 2021 at 1:32 pm

We all love a handbag for travelling. A chic satchel, a tote that’s big enough to carry everything, from your passport to your sunglasses and camera! But what if you were vegan? What if you were forgoing animal leather in favour of cruelty-free versions made from faux leather or vegan materials such as canvas and plastic?

You’d still want a handbag that was cool, durable and comfortable. Fortunately, vegan leather is that it is much lighter than animal leather. It’s also much stronger than it looks. So, if you’re looking for a handbag that ticks all the boxes and is cruelty-free as well as being ethically sourced – read on!

Has fashion missed the vegan boat?

No way. With clothing brands making headlines by adding animal-friendly lines to their collections in recent seasons, it seems that fashion has cottoned onto the fact that there are more vegans in 2015 than ever before (around 5% of people in the UK). But what about accessories? Well, it seems that fashion hasn’t caught up just yet, but we think this is only a matter of time.

Vegan handbags are booming right now. This has to do with the fact that more and more people are considering whether or not their choice of accessories are cruelty-free. This means a growing demand for vegan handbags, especially those which resemble luxury classic brands. How can you choose a good looking leather alternative? Which one looks best?

Research, research and research!

Buying the right vegan handbag takes time. Make sure the brand you are buying from has the eco-friendly and cruelty-free credentials that you expect. The good thing is that nowadays a lot of vegan brands are gaining popularity, so you don’t have to worry about them going out of style or becoming outdated.

Another thing worth considering is the quality of material used for your vegan handbag. Cheap options might look cheap and fall apart easily. It’s always better to pay more for a high-quality handmade bag (if you can afford it) than invest in something low-quality that will probably break down and wear off after a few months. After all, this is an investment piece, right? And there are plenty of ethical designers out there who can give you ideas for what kind of vegan handbag would go well with your own personal style.

Will vegan leather go out of style?

Absolutely not. Vegan leather is here to stay. It looks and feels just like real leather yet it’s strong and durable too — when you buy from a top-quality brand. Vegan handbags are a fine example of how useful vegan leather is.

Thanks to technology, synthetic fibres are more like the real thing than ever before. And they come in a variety of high-quality textures and colours that are practically indistinguishable from animal products — at least until you touch them and feel their softness. And yet, there’s one big difference: vegan leather is free of cruelty. It doesn’t involve using or abusing animals. In fact, it may be kinder for our planet too since fake leather isn’t as harmful to the environment as living beings! Can you believe it? No animals were harmed in the making of your precious new handbag. Isn’t that amazing?!
